There’s no such thing as coincedence

We left Tolhuin this morning to go to Rio Grande. Late last night, another guest arrived; a Mexican guy who lives in Belgium. A very interesting guy. But this morning it was time to go on and say goodbye. The moment we got on our bikes, it started raining and it didn’t stop. Only at the very end it finally stopped. The road went downhill and then became flat with a few hills. Paradise for us! Only in the beginning we had headwind, but then it changed and we had tailwind! Continue reading

December 13th; Ron’s birthday

Thursday December 13th, we celebrated Ron’s birthday despite of the stress of the lost luggage. Decorated our hotelroom and had a cup of coffee/tea with a delicious piece of pie. Tonight a glass of wine with dinner and then it’s over again already.

The adventure of travelling

We arrived in Ushuaia on Wednesday afternoon. WE did, but our luggage did not… Only Linda’s bike was there, nothing else. The other bike and all 3 of our bags had disappeared. The other bike was already missing in Buenos Aires. A big hustle to get that sorted out, but I’m proud of myself because I did it all in Spanish. The bike hadn’t been on our flight from Rome, but would come over on the next flight. It would be transported to Ushuaia on a later flight. Okay, not too bad.

This was it…

It’s already Friday again, which means that my 2 weeks in Malaga are over. I had a very good time and met some nice people. The days were tyring but usefull. I hope I will remember enough to be able to talk in the Americas.

Sevilla

Saturday we went to Sevilla with a few people from school. It’s a beautiful city with a lot of history. There’s a cathedral which is built in the 15th century. The tower is built in the 11th century by the Arabs who were in control here back then. The Plaza the Espana is the Spanish pavillion of the World Expo in 1929 in Sevilla.
