We spent 2 days in Salta. The first one to get the administration updated, do the laundry and relax and the second one to visit the city center. We could take a bus from the campground to the city center, so that was easy. We didn’t think the city was very special, it’s a city like many others but one with a nice church. But we’re not city people. We did have a nice lunch at the main square.
We also took a look in the beautiful campertruck of Joop and Adrie. They were the first Dutch we met with a camper like that. They’ve been travelling for a few years and their camper has all the luxury you might want and/or need. They even have a washing machine. So it’s just like home…

Dat was wel afzien de laatste tijd, maar wat zien jullie veel moois. We zijn trots op jullie. Groot gelijk dat jullie 2 dagen in Salta zijn gebleven om bij te komen. Zijn de fietsen ok na die zware tocht?

Duidelijk dat het niet allemaal vanzelf ging maar zo hoort het ook. Hoe zwaarder het is hoe meer je geniet van hetgeen je hebt gepresteerd nietwaar!
