From Seattle, we cycled to Bellingham in 1,5 days. Betty lead us out of the city, so we didn’t have to search for a route. After a short section on normal roads, we picked up the Centennial trail in the town of Snohomish. That’s a bike/walk path where there used to be a railroad. The route continued north for a while, so it was nice cycling. We camped in a State Park at the shore.
Now we’re in Bellingham and this afternoon we will board the ferry to Juneau, Alaska. We’re planning on staying there for 1 or 2 days (depending the weather) and then continue on another ferry, to Skagway. There is a through road again, so we can get back on our bikes. Through Whitehorse, Canada, we’ll continue back into Alaska and to Fairbanks.
