There’s no such thing as coincedence

We left Tolhuin this morning to go to Rio Grande. Late last night, another guest arrived; a Mexican guy who lives in Belgium. A very interesting guy. But this morning it was time to go on and say goodbye. The moment we got on our bikes, it started raining and it didn’t stop. Only at the very end it finally stopped. The road went downhill and then became flat with a few hills. Paradise for us! Only in the beginning we had headwind, but then it changed and we had tailwind! We passed an American guy on our way. He told us about a hostal in Rio Grande which was supposed to be really great. We wanted to try and stay at a police station first, then try the campground and if none of those succeeded we could always try the hostal.
The road got flat and the surroundings desolate. The only things we could see were the road and some cattle. Besides that, there was the total nothingness (except for the cars and trucks who passed us with a lot of speed).
The police station was about 6 miles before Rio Grande, but we couldn’t sleep there according to the policeman. Okay, then go to the city and try to find the campground. But that was closed as we found out when we got there. Then try and find the hostal we heard about. Firs to a gasstation (for wifi) to try and find the address on a map. But it was hard to find. We just decided to go to another hostal when a car stopped in front of us. The people inside asked if we were looking for a hostal. A friend of theirs runs one. We could follow them and then we discovered they took us to the same place we wanted to go in the first place! There’s no such thing as coincidence! And when we read the guestbook, we saw a comment and pictures of Pablo, the guy who stayed with us at the bakery the first night we were there. Again; there’s no such thing as coincidence! He also found out about this hostal because people brought him here.
Now we’re sitting at the kitchen table and just finished dinner. We could cook, use the internet and the shower was nice and hot. We even have our own double room. Such luxury! And all of that in somebodies home…
