We decided not to go on the next day, but visit the estancia. It was a good decision. The weather was much better, the legs needed the rest and we had a very nice day. At the entrance station was a guy who is married to a Dutch woman, Brenda. She’s one of the tour guides of the estancia. We had a nice talk with him and then went on to the restaurant to warm up close to the fire and wait for the next tour. While we were warming up, an American woman came to us and asked if the bikes were ours. She cycles also and gave us her card to contact her if and when we’re in the neighborhood of DC, which we hopefully will be someday when we’re on our way to PA… Then Brenda came to us and with her we also had a nice and interesting talk. She gave us a private tour of the estancia and after another cup of warm tea it was time to say goodbye and go back into the cold and to our tent. Fortunately it was better over there and we were able to enjoy the sun a little bit.
